POS App

The Zavo POS is what your staff actually use during service. It runs on three surfaces, each tuned for a different job — the same app, switching modes based on how the device is registered in the Dashboard.

iPad — Full POS

The main station. Shows the floor plan, lets staff open and join tables, take orders with modifiers and courses, and take payment with split-bill support. Also acts as the host stand when set to Reception mode (reservations, walk-ins, the timeline calendar).

Each iPad’s hardware (printers, card terminals) is paired from its own Settings tab.

Before the floor plan, every iPad passes through the lock screen — a PIN pad that handles staff sign-in plus the register lifecycle: opening the register with a cash float in the morning, logging cash-in/cash-out movements during service, and running the Z-report at the end of the day. iPhone — Handheld

A pocket-sized POS for waiters. Bottom-tab navigation, occupied-table list grouped by room, a categories → items flow for fast tableside ordering, and a charge screen with split by item or split by amount. Pairs with the same card terminals as the iPad.

KDS — Kitchen Display

Replaces kitchen printers with a digital ticket board. Runs in landscape on:

• iPads — the most common kitchen screen
• Android tablets — any reasonably sized model
• Dedicated Sunmi KDS screens — heat- and grease-resistant, mountable

One screen per prep station (Grill, Bar, Salad…) plus an optional Expo screen for the pass that sees every item across every station.
